Brief Summary
|
This study will be conducted in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical care and Pain Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, after obtaining Institutional committee approval and CTRI registration. This is a prospective interventional trial. After obtaining written consent, the demographic data such as age, sex, area of work, occupation etc. will be recorded. All the participants will undergo pre-testing for knowledge with the help of a validated questionnaire. Pre-testing will be followed by the actual training of knowledge and skill regarding compression only life support (COLS) with the help of standardized guidelines given by Indian Resuscitation Council Federation (IRCF). The training will br The training will be followed by testing of knowledge with the help of questionnaire together with individual skills testing. The participants would be followed at 3 and 6 months. Their knowledge will be evaluated using the same questionnaire and the skill test will be performed to evaluate the skills. |
