Background:

Cross-sectional study utilizing an online survey format with a pre-decided demographic population (MBBS Students under Manipal Academy of Higher Education)

Collection and assessment of data regarding the attitudes of medical students about AI (Artificial Intelligence) and their opinions of the use of AI in medicine.

KMC Manipal IEC And Registrar Sir (MAHE) have granted permission for data collection in KMC Manipal, KMC Mangalore and MTMC Jamshedpur.


Purpose

a) To assess how students from different professional years and colleges perceive the application of AI in medicine.

b) To assess their perceived knowledge about the application of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine

c) To identify the gaps and provide the basis for introducing AI in the MBBS curriculum, by understanding the students’ interest in learning about AI and their
