Brief Summary   The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of utilizing a collagen plug in preserving the alveolar socket following atraumatic premolar extraction. Alveolar bone resorption and atrophy are common post-extraction issues, prompting the need for adjunctive techniques to limit these occurrences. Preserving alveolar bone is vital for maintaining dental arch integrity and supporting structures. By comparing outcomes with and without the collagen plug, the study seeks to determine if this intervention can reduce bone resorption and enhance socket preservation, ultimately improving post-extraction outcomes and patient care in dentistry.
