Conventional Stretching |
Group2 - In this group participants will be given conventional stretching like across body stretching and overhead stretching with 30s hold for 3 repetitions |
| Intervention |
Modified Sleeper Stretch |
Participants will be allotted in 2 groups
Group 1- The participants will be given modified sleeper stretch with the person in side lying position on a plinth or on even an surface. Shoulder and elbow in 90degrees of abduction and flexion respectively.
Then ask the person to roll 20-30 degrees on side to stabilize the scapula.
Then ask patient to actively internally rotate the shoulder and passive overstretch will be given with 30s hold for 3 repetitions
The modified sleeper stretch performed with the athlete in side lying position, trunk rolled posteriorly 20-30 degrees and shoulder elevated to 90 degrees.
