follow the basic NRP protocol |
If a baby is delivered and does not cry after birth we will proceed with the NRP protocol and give stimulation. |
| Intervention |
Omission of Stimulation
from Initial steps of resuscitation" |
we are going to omit the step of stimulation from initial steps by giving positive pressure ventilation to the patient directly to the child who does not cry immediately after birth and seeing the long term outcome. |

Brief Summary
|
The goals of neonatal resuscitation are to prevent the morbidity and mortality associated with hypoxic ischemic tissue injury and also to re establish adequate spontaneous respiration and cardiac output.
AIM is to simplify the NRP protocol by omission of stimulation from Initial steps of resuscitation. and find the outcome of the newborn.
