Intervention  Combined balance and plyometric training  Exercises will be performed 3 days every week for 6 weeks. Total time duration for each session will be 55 mins. Warm up will include Jogging, Jumping Jack, side step jack which will take 10 minutes. Cool down will include Stretching of calf, hamstrings, quadriceps and hip flexor which will take 5 mins. Experimental group will perform both balance and plyometric exercises. Balance exercises will be performed for 1 minute with 1 minute rest between each exercise. Plyometric exercises will be done for 2 sets containing 15 repetitions in each set with 1 minute rest between each set. The total duration of control group will be 6 weeks.

Details  Age between 20 to 35 years; Grade 1 and 2 ankle sprain 6 weeks before; Both male and female; recreational badminton players; no pain on walking and jumping vertically; no swelling or tenderness; met the prerequisites for plyometric training 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1. Recurrent ankle sprain
2. Ankle fracture
3. Grade III Ankle Sprain
4. Any other lower extremity injury or surgery
5. Part of another research
6. History of neurological disease, vestibular or visual disturbance or any other pathology

Brief Summary   The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of combined balance and plyometric training in badminton players with lateral ankle sprain.
This is an experimental study which will recruit 40 patients with lateral ankle sprain wherein the individuals will be assessed and those who meet inclusion criteria will be taken. Outcome measures will be recorded before the intervention of 6 weeks following which intervention will be performed by the patients. Outcome measures will be measured again after the intervention and the data will be analyzed.
