Brief Summary   Diabetes a complex and chronic metabolic disorder has become a pressing global health concern . In recent years the prevalence of diabetes has been steadily increasing and India has not been immune to this trend  .
NEED OF THE STUDY - Translating  the questionnaire into hindi language ensures that it can be understood by a wider range of individuals including those who may not be proficient in English . This is crucial because cultural and linguistic factors can influence how people interpret and respond to questions . A validated questionnaire in hindi language is more likely to capture accurate information .
AIM OF THE STUDY - The aim of this study is to assess the self management practices of diabetes among the Indian diabetic population by translating and validating an existing diabetes self management questionnaire and to investigate the relationship between self management practices and the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in this population .
OBJECTIVES OF THE SUDY - To translate the diabetes self management questionnaire from its original language to other Indian language to ensure linguistic and cultural relevance .
To investigate the association of diabetes self management questionnaire with the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders among individuals with diabetes .
