Brief Summary

Chronic periodontitis, a prevalent  inflammatory condition affecting periodontal tissues, necessitates multifaceted therapeutic approaches. While mechanical debridement remains fundamental, the adjunctive use of systemic antibiotics has garnered attention for its potential to enhance treatment outcomes. This randomized controlled clinical trial addresses a critical knowledge gap by systematically evaluating the effectiveness of four antibiotic regimens: amoxicillin and metronidazole, doxycycline, azithromycin, and amoxicillin alone in the management of chronic periodontitis.
