Brief Summary
|
Healthy college students will be selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria and informed consent forms will be obtained. Students will undergo Attention span testing with the help of Digit vigilance Test which is pen-paper bound where students will be instructed to cross out as rapidly and as possible a specific target number (6 or 9) that appears at random within 59 rows of 35 single digits. Total time and omitted errors will be recorded. Agility will be assessed using a T-test in which students will start from cone D which is the base of the ‘T’. Then at the "go" command, the subject will be asked to run forward towards cone B, then will run with side steps covering 5 metres of distance towards cone A and then touch it. After that, the subject will be asked to run with side steps covering 10 metres towards cone C and then 14 touch it. After touching cone C, the subject will be asked to run by the side-stepping to cover 5 metres towards the middle which is cone B and then touch it. At the end, the subject will run backwards towards the base of the "T" which will cone D and touch it. The timer will be stopped when the subject reaches cone D and time will be noted. Data will be recorded, documented and analyzed using appropriate tests of significance. |
