Brief Summary

Agni is the basis of life. All activities happening in human life are related to Agni only. The age, complexion, strength, health, enthusiasm, strength of the body, radiance, glow, energy, brilliance, fire and life of the human body all depend on the Agni of the body. In Ayurveda, Agni has been described in defferent strengths by Acharyas. Weakness in human at the natural season(varsha) and at the end of the interseason(summer). There is moderate strength strength of a human beingis three and the best depends on the power of fire, if the weak then all the activities related to digestion of a human being can be done. These do not happen properly and when Agni is strong, all these human activities continue smoothly.

NEED OF STUDY- The basis of subject selection is that each season has a different climate which of Agni. Due to the contamination of Agni in these seasons, physical diseases arise. The description of diet and lifestyle in the menstrual cycle described in the Samhitas is based in the Agnibala. In todays lifestyle in the society, people consume wrong diet to ignorance of Agnibala and seasons, which leads to diseases, for the knowledge of which efforts have been made by the scholar.
