Brief Summary
|
Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder with motor and non motor symptoms affecting the quality of life. One of the recent advances in physiotherapy, to treat Parkinson’s disease patients, is LSVT BIG is one of the rehabilitation techniques that approach to trains large amplitude whole body movement to increase both the speed and amplitude of functional tasks in a patient’s with Parkinson’s disease. LSVT BIG therapy has been shown effective on the motor system and it is cnceptionally based on improving bradykinesia in particular the decrement of repetitive movement by proprioceptive recalibration. |
