The immediate effects of Kapalabhathi kriya was evaluated by performing 5 rounds, each consisting of 30 strokes, resulting in a total of 150 strokes within a duration of 3 minutes.
It was followed by the practice of Chandra anuloma-viloma pranayama performed for a duration of 3 minutes, with 3 rounds of 9 cycles each. |

Brief Summary
|
A
prior permission will be obtained regarding the ethical issue from the college
for conducting the study. The subjects will be considered for the study after
screening as per the demands of inclusion and exclusion criteria. An informed
consent will be obtained from the subjects by explaining the study objectives,
methods, intervention and all the rights of the subject pertaining to the study
both orally and in writing. The participants will undergo the supervised training of kapalbhati
pranayama and Chandra anuloma viloma pranayama prior to the study. They were
directed to sit in an easy and steady posture either in a lotus posture i.e.,
Padmasana or a comfortable sitting posture i.e., Sukhasana) with the head, neck
and trunk erect and in a straight line and keep the body still during practice
of pranayama in a calm and quiet room. |
