Patients having serum cholesterol 200 to 300mg/dl, s. Triglycerides 150 to 350 mg/dl, S. LDL 100 to 200 mg/dl, S. VLDL 30 TO 100 mg/dl and S. HDL 20 to 40 mg/dl 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  Patients having past history of Myocardial infarction, unstable angina, congestive cardiac failure and cerebro vascular accident.
Patients having past illness like carcinoma, renal and liver disorders
Pregnant females and lactating mother

Brief Summary   I plan to publish my work after completing the research trial as soon as possible. A minimum number of 30 patients will be selected from OPD and IPD of Kayachikitsa Department in Rajiv Gandhi Govt Post Graduate Ayurvedic College and hospital Paprola Distt Kangra. A total number of 30 patients will be divided into 2 groups containing 15 patients each. One group will be managed with tab atorvastatin 10 mg once a day. The other group will be managed with haritaki churna for koshtha shudhi followed by Amritadya guggulu 500 mg Twice daily for a period of 8 weeks.
