Brief Summary
|
Use of technology especially artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare particularly has evoked interest in the field of Anaesthesiology. AI can bring a paradigm shift in this field of anesthesiology in patient care and outcomes. Chatbot, a form of AI utilizing deep learning and natural language processing can maintain conversation with the user. Chatbots can assist anesthesiologist in dealing difficult case scenarios in decision making, choosing appropriate dosage, alert drug interaction, medical education so on and so forth.(1) Chat- Generative Pretrained Transformer (CHAT-GPT) (version 4.0), a chatbot, launched in November 2022 is an artificial intelligence developed by OPEN AI. In a recent study, Chat GPT performed near or passing threshold in USMLE examination without explicit training. |
