basic balance training |
Basic balance training will be given for 3 sessions per week, a total of 24 sessions over 8 weeks. after practice until proficient at all of the exercises , each subject will begin with 10 min warmup followed by completing basic balance training program. total duration of work out will be approximately 35-40 min, followed by 5 min cooldown. |

1. Only male players will be recruited.
2. Players in the age group between 18-21 years.
3. Players who are not using bosuball in their training.
4. Players with minimum 1 year of experience in volleyball. |

1. Musculoskeletal disease in the last 6 months, heart disease, inflammatory or autoimmune disease, diabetes or any endocrine disease.
2. Absence from regular training due to any reason from 6 months.
3. Any type of performance enhancement medication and supplementation that may affect the performance and adaptations related to my training program.

Brief Summary
|
In the game of
volleyball, technical-tactical elements as well as fundamental and supporting
bio-motor skills are frequently utilised. A high level of aerobic and repeated
sprint capacity, muscular strength and endurance, agility, quickness, and
flexibility are all needed to play volleyball, which is a very physically
demanding sport. Volleyball has the traits of a dynamic exercise with measured
intensity, with bursts of fast, explosive action followed by a brief period of
relative calm. In order to sprint to advantageous positions while attacking or
counterattacking, it also demands quick acceleration. In order to provide
regional strength and balance, the core is crucial. The core serves as the hub
of the functional kinetic chain, supplying proximal stability for the limbs’
distal motion and functionality. For athletes to perform better and prevent
injuries, the core stability is essential. The goal of this study is to see how
8 weeks of core training using bosuball affect dynamic balance in professional
volleyball players. A total of 26 players will be divided into two groups:
experimental group (n= 13) who will undergo sports specific core training with
there regular training and control group (n= 13) who will undergo only regular
training program. The athletes are selected on the basis of inclusion criteria.
The athletes will be trained for 8 weeks
with three sessions per week. 0 week (pre), 4 week and 8 week (post) intervention
assessment of all the outcome measure (star excursion balance test) will be
taken at 0 week, at the end of 4 weeks, 8 weeks respectively. The data will be analysed
using dependent t-test.
