Brief Summary
Modification(s)

People’s lifestyle has become much dominated by computer technology; oftenly by overuse in digital tasks on hand-held mobile technology induces ‘Text Neck’, being a world-wide health problem. The term ‘Text Neck or also called as turtle neck posture is described as repeated stress injury and pain in neck where the individual has his/her head hung down or flexed in a forward position resulting from excessive texting or watching stuff on devices over long period of time These days, text neck has become more common in today’s generation of young adults who constantly try to crane their neck or are bent into their electronic devices even while performing simple tasks of daily living.Kinesio taping is newer technique which is non pharmacological and non invasive pain relief method. In recent studies and years, the clinicians have extensively used taping to prevent and also treat the musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including neck pain.Yoga has become an alternative therapy which helps to prevent many health issues or problems. Yoga has become a choice to healthy life to every individual. There is no single treatment which is universal for all condition. There are  many techniques of yoga make it an ultimate method for treating  neck pain  by improving  strength, flexibility and endurance, which is a basic goal of  rehabilitation programs for neck pain. There are studies that have proved that yoga is beneficial in treating neck pain but there are limited studies which prove the effectiveness of yoga along with Kinesio taping in Text Neck Syndrome.Hence, there is a need to prove the effectiveness of yoga with Kinesio-Taping in Text Neck Syndrome in young adults
