Brief Summary
|
This is a descriptive cross-sectional study designed to determine undergraduate nursing students’ understanding and self-efficacy toward palliative care. The main aim of palliative treatment is to ameliorate the condition of life among critically ill and dying patients and their near ones. Nurses are playing a vital role in providing safe and effective treatment to the global population. Efficient nursing care low down the level of distress and burdens for those patients. Current undergraduate nursing students are lacking to participate in any palliative care training and this research will assess the understanding and self-efficacy of undergraduate nursing students on palliative care. The study will help administrators to organize a palliative care training strategy to improve students understanding and self-efficacy toward palliative care |
