Brief Summary   NEED FOR THE STUDY

Current Literature: 
Self-efficacy is one of the most significant indicators of someone’s drive and confidence to "carve out" their future over the long term and can play a significant role in the success of their psychosocial adjustment to SCI. Self-efficacy has constantly been linked to mental health, quality of life, psychological adaptation to SCI, and overall well-being. The patient’s self-efficacy after SCI is strongly influenced by both psychosocial adaptation and adaptive coping skills. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that self-efficacy is a critical factor in determining exercise adherence, social engagement, improved mental health, and greater involvement in leisure-time physical activity in people with SCI. 

Literature Gap:
Therefore, evaluating and quantifying self-efficacy will assist to identify the areas where spinal cord injury patients’ rehabilitation might well be improved. Studies assessing the knowledge, attitude, and practice of self-efficacy assessment are inadequate according to the literature review, thus the need for the study emerges so that we may stress the significance of self-efficacy evaluation in spinal cord injury patients.
