Brief Summary
In order to identify one of the musculoskeletal disorder called upper cross syndrome in hospital domestic service employees ,the current study has been undertaken since domestic workers are a vulnerable part of our society and few studies on their health issues have been conducted in India .There is limited data on injuries caused to cleaning populations as a result of their work exposure, this study will help to determine the  prevalence of upper cross syndrome in them so that proper ergonomic measures can be implemented in the future.
Since the stakes of musculoskeletal changes in people involved in cleaning are high and they cannot afford any complications due to the advancement of the disorder through time, it is important to know the prevalence causing the syndrome to avoid the development and progression of musculoskeletal disorders in them. Hence, this study is proposed to identify the prevalence of upper cross syndrome in hospital
domestic service staff.
