It is a Prospective, cross sectional, observational study to analyze the correlation between Emotional Intelligence and burnout syndrome among doctors. Emotional Intelligence (EI) is recognized as an important personal attribute involved in nurturing the patient doctor relationship (PDR). Burnout syndrome is the result of the workers’ long-lasting exposure to occupational stress. It is considered a psychosocial phenomenon, which is characterized by physical and mental exhaustion. Investigators intend to start the study, post written consent of doctors.In this study the Emotional Intelligence and  Burnout Syndrome will be assessed by Physician Well-Being Index-Expanded (ePWBI) scale which includes questions about satisfaction with work-life integration and meaning in work. Briefly, the index is intended to include the domains of burnout, depression, stress, fatigue, and mental and physical QOL. It consists of 7 yes/no items and respondents receive a score from 0 to 7 based on responses. The outcome of the study will be based on the results of the survey questionnaire which will be analyzed by the investigator to indicate presence or absence of burnout in participants. A counselling session will be arranged for the same by the investigator.
