Brief Summary
|
Patient satisfaction is a highly desirable outcome of clinical care in the hospital and is considered by many to be an important measure of healthcare The Beryl Institute’s current definition for patient experience – “the sum of all interactions, shaped by an organization’s culture, that influence patient perceptions, across the continuum of care’’. Patient satisfaction with hospital services is one of the most important indicators of effectiveness and quality of hospital services. “Satisfied†patients have been found to be more adherent to treatment plans, more likely to continue using health services, remain loyal to their physicians, and recommend services to others |
