Intervention  Group A:Effectiveness of plyometric exercises to improve speed and agility in young beginner swimmers   The treatment protocol will consist of 5 sessions of plyometric exercise program/ week. WEEK 1: standing jump and reach(10 rep 2 sets),Forward and backward ankle hops(10 rep 2 sets),Lateral ankle hops (10 rep 2 sets),Split squats(10 rep 2 sets). WEEK 2: Long jump(10 rep 3 sets),Snowboard hops(10 rep 2 sets),Lateral cone hops(10 rep 2 sets) ,Butt kick jump (15 rep 2sets). WEEK 3: Lateral cone hopes(15 rep 3 sets),Butt kick jump(20 rep 3 sets),Drop jump(10 rep 2 sets),Depth jump(10 rep 2 sets). WEEK 4: Drop jump(15 rep 3 sets),Depth jump(15 rep 3 sets), Lateral jump over barrier(10 rep 2 sets),Plyo jacks (15 rep 2 sets). TITLE:
Effectiveness of plyometric exercises to improve speed and agility in young beginner
swimmers: A Randomized Control Trial

Aim:
The aim of the study is to analyse the effects of plyometric exercises to get better
speed and agility improvement in young beginner swimmers.

Objectives:
 To find out effect of plyometric on young beginner swimmers.
 To find out effect of plyometric exercises on speed in young beginner swimmers.
 To find out effect of plyometric exercises on agility in young beginner swimmers.

OUTCOME MEASURES:
Speed and Agility will be measured by 30 m dash test and Illinois agility test (IAT)

DATA COLLECTION PROCEDURE:
Participants will be informed about the study and requested to sign written consent forms.
The participants will be dividing into two groups i.e. Group A and Group B by simple
randomize sampling (lottery method.)

Group A will be given plyometric exercise program & Group B will continue their
regular general body exercises, warm up and cool down as they are in control group.
The treatment protocol will consist of 5 sessions of plyometric exercise program/ week.
The difference in the outcome measures will be recorded and the data will be analyzed further.
