1. All those who have done Suicide attempt and have been hospitalized or evaluated at out-patient-department. (Suicide attempt is defined as any nonfatal self-directed potentially injurious behavior with any intent to die as a result of the behavior.)
2. Age: 18 – 60 years.
3. Any gender. |

Brief Summary
|
All those who have attempted suicide (as per the selection criteria listed below) will be approached for willingness to participate in this research study as per the approval of the ethics committee.All subjects will be assessed using a comprehensive semi-structured proforma to collect the socio-demographic and clinical details like birth and development, family history, personal history and related other information.
Following structured clinical scales will be applied by investigators. 1. Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) 2. Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) 3. Standardised Assessment of Personality – Abbreviated scale (SAPAS) 4. Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) 5. Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS)
Scores on the above-mentioned scales are the primary outcome variables of interest. Correlation among clinical variables and scores on these scales will be assessed.
Participation in the study is completely voluntary. All subjects fulfilling eligibility criteria will be given a participation information sheet and the procedure followed will be explained in detail. The participant has the right to refuse or withdraw consent at any part of the study. In such an event, it ensured that the participant continues to receive the best possible care and treatment. Complete confidentiality will be maintained related to the information about the participant obtained during the course of the study.
