Brief Summary

According to WHO health care professionals include Doctors, Nurses, Midwives and support workers. There is a wide range of literature signifying the internet addiction in school going and college going students. Internet addiction( IA) is characterized by excessive or poorly controlled preoccupations, urges or behaviours regarding computer use and internet access that leads to impairment and stress.1 However, there is very scarce literature studying the comparative use of internet pre, during and after lockdown amid COVID-19 and almost no Indian data comparing the use during lockdown in medical professionals. Therefore, further studies are required to compare the prevalence of IA  in medical professionals.
