1. Patients with clinical diagnosis of acne scars .
2. Patients with age 18 years and above.

ExclusionCriteria |

1. Patient with active acne lesions
2. Pregnant and breastfeeding women.
3. Patients on anticoagulant therapy.
4. Patients with active herpes, HIV, Hep B, Hep C infection.
5. Patient with history of keloids.
6. Patient with haemoglobin less than10 mg /dl , platelet count less than 1lakh /cm3

Brief Summary

|
Each patient will be enrolled based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria.A detailed history and examination will be done . Patients on oral retinoids will be advised to stop taking the medications . The patient will be put on sunscreen atleast two weeks prior to the procedure. The scar site will be subjected to microneedling followed by platelet rich fibrin application. Each patient will receive 3 sessions at a interval of 4 weeks (monthly once for 3 months) and then follow up after 4 weeks ( 1 month) of last session. (Total 4 visits for each patient). Pre and post procedure assessment of scar will be done by Goodman and Barons acne scar grading system and results will be statistically analysed. |
