Brief Summary
|
This study is to assess the mental health and health-related quality of life in schoolchildren from secondary and senior secondary schools in Kerala during the COVID-19 pandemic through an online survey. Selected school children from the survey would be randomly assigned into the intervention group (tele yoga) and control group (online physical practices) for a period of 2 months and 1 month follow-up period. The primary outcome measures will be Mental Health and Quality of life measured using the Strengths & Difficulties questionnaire & WHOQOL-BREF respectively at 3-time points: before the intervention, 2 months after the intervention & 1 month after follow-up. The secondary outcome measures will be the assessment of the efficacy of the tele yoga program on school children (questionnaire) and parental response (using Well-being of School Children in Lockdown Scale). |
