Introduction: Ayurveda is a fundamentally distinct medical system. Personalized treatment is a unique feature of Ayurveda. According to it health is a state of complete balance at the level of body, mind and consciousness1. Maintaining health is a continuous process and for that it also describes ‘Swasthavrutta’ where ‘Swa’ is individual identity which separates every being from everything. Dissatisfaction is not simply the absence of satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a variable matter with multidimensional attitude. Since last so many decades number of theories put forward to relate the factors involving job satisfaction. They examined the relationship between working environment/ worker’s attitude/ motivation/ stress/ personality and job satisfaction. But not a single theory efficiently worked for everyone. Though many tools have been constructed to measure the quantum of job satisfaction, none is really applicable for every category of employee from any company all at one time.
Scope and Statement of the Problem: Knowledge of Prakruti contributes in maintaining healthy life. It helps making correct diagnosis of the disease of an individual. Describing of treatment is improper and incomplete without Prakruti determination. An Ayurvedic expert may suggest appropriate Rasayan according to individual’s Prakruti for longer and healthy life. With the help of ‘Doshaj Prakruti’ employer can determine any employee’s physical and mental energy. This will further help to construct a personalized plan for everyone disrespect to his post, gender, status and company. It will be then easy to plan a work schedule, task, motivation, team work, working hours, even the type of food and recreations. For maximum interpersonal harmony it will be logical to team up the employees according to their Doshaj Prakruti. This study has been selected to observe co-relation between Doshaj Prakruti and job satisfaction. Outcome of this study may help to employer and employee for overall progress and success. A person can choose his job according to his Prakruti. Objective of the study: Aim :To study co- relation between Doshaj Prakruti and job satisfaction. Objectives: To promote recruitment of a person on the basis of Doshaj Prakruti Assessment. The
Pearson chi-square statistic is 11.788 and the p-value = 0.019. The likelihood
chi-square statistic is 11.816 and the p-value = 0.019.
Therefore,
at a significance level of 0.05, p-value obtained from the is less than calculated Value , then it
rejects H0 and accepts H1. |
