Intervention  Chakshushya Ghrita Tarpana, Shadanga Guggulu Vati Orally  1. Purva karma: i) Netra parisheka with 50-60 ml Triphaladi Kwatha in morning for 5 days for Aama pachana ii) Nasya with Anu taila 6 drops in each nostril in morning for 5 days 2. Pradhana karma: Tarpana with Chakshushya Ghrita 20ml per sitting in morning for 5 days The same procedure for each eye will be repeated after a gap of 10 days with 3 consecutive sittings. 3. Shadanga Guggulu Vati 2 tab. (each of 500 mg) twice a day after meal with luke warm water as Anupana for 45 days.

Details  Patients using computer at least 3 hours per day presenting with clinical features of
1. Netrayasa (Eye strain)
2. Avila Darshana (Blurred vision)
3. Shiro abhitapa (Headache)
4. Netra raga (conjunctival congestion)
5. NetraDaha (Burning sensation)
6. Vishushkatva (Dryness)
7. Slow refocusing
8. Excessive fatigue (Neck/Shoulder/Back pain)
 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1. Patient not willing for registration.
2. Patients suffering from symptoms of dry eye due to causes other than excess exposure to visual display terminals.
3. Patients suffering from systemic illness or taking medications which are known to affect tear quantity and quality.
4. Complicated case with acute/chronic infective infections of lid, conjunctiva, cornea and sclera.
