Brief Summary
|
Smartphone is the most popular device and it has many side effects such as rounded shoulder, muscles pain. Rounded shoulder are an unnatural posture posture characterized by an exaggerated curvature of the upper back, often a forward positioning of the head where the shoulder girdle is protracted and thoracic kyphosis. Because so many people hold their smartphone down low, in front of them. Previous studies reported a high prevalence of shoulder symptoms among mobile users. A study in Canada indicates rates if 46-52% in shoulder symptoms. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the changes in posture depending on the duration of smartphone. Assessment of rounded shoulder and scapular index was calculated. |
