Haridradi ghana is prepared by Ghana kalpna and will be given orally in the age group 20-60 years.the tablet is given in the dose of 500 mg twice aday before meal with luke warm water which includes follow up on 30th,60th,90th day. |

Brief Summary
|
Being overweight is common problem of todays era. people generally considered obese when BMI is above 25kg/m2. causes of obesity are life style changes,sedentary life style adption,change in food habits like excessive consumption of fast food or packed food which are having added preservatives and sugar,lack of physical activity, mental stress,endocrinal disordrs . According to WHO overweight and obese are amlong five leading causes of death globally. according to ayurved meda,kapha,vata are mainly responsible in the pathogenesis of sthaulya therefor medoghna,kaphaghna and vataghna properties of drug will be used for treatment of sthaulya. the main objective of this research work is to provide consolidated report on traditional uses of medoghna property of haridradi ghana and medohara guggulu in the management of sthaulya. |
