Brief Summary   Psoriasis does result in a lot of concern to the patient because of the itching and cosmetic appearance. There are very few studies that have been conducted comparing various topical agents being used for palmoplantar psoriasis and chronic plaque psoriasis. The rationale of this study is to compare one of the most commonly used topical steroid-clobetasol with methotrexate gel,a topical form of oral drug that has been used for treatment of psoriasis. The hypothesis for the research question is To compare the efficacy and safety of topical methotrexate gel (1%) in comparison to clobetasol propionate cream(0.05%) for the treatment of palmoplantar psoriasis and chronic plaque psoriasis.
