Individual Participant Data (IPD) Sharing Statement

Will individual participant data (IPD) be shared publicly (including data dictionaries)?

Brief Summary   The study focuses on the use of health care services by inter-state migrants who work in the construction sector in India.

The research is based on the concept of right to health. The research material consists of interviews of inter-state migrant construction workers in the Manipal .10-12 interviews will be conducted with both males and females.
The interview data is supported by an in-depth literature review of health care provision and use among internal migrants in India and in the state of Karnataka where Manipal is located. The state of Karnataka is currently experiencing a rapid growth of construction industry.

The main focus of the research is on health service usage of internal, inter-state migrants. Comparisons between male and female workers as well as challenges caused by the informality of the construction sector will be drawn. The study will provide input for service providers and policy makers working with health care service provision.
