Brief Summary
|
According to National Vector Borne Diseases
Control Programme (NVBDCP), the overall documentation of Dengue cases in India
was 188401 in the year 2017, out of which 23,294 cases were from Tamil Nadu.
In that 608 cases were reported from Madurai District and more number of cases was
reported from Melur Taluk. In spite of dengue preventive measures taken
by the corporation of Madurai, the district has reported the highest number of
cases. So this particular study aims at the assessment of dengue preventive
measures and its status of implementation from the community perspective. |
