2) Anu Taila for Nasya |
All the patients visiting the OPD, IPD and fulfilling criteria of diagnosis X-Ray cervical spine antero-posterior and Lateral view and symptoms of Manyagraha with special reference to Cervical Spondylosis will be admitted in ward or will be treated at O.P.D. level.
The detailed history of the patient will be taken as per the case record form and will be recorded. All the symptoms, investigations, will be recorded on the day of admission or at the time of visiting to O.P.D. this day will be considered as day zero. Their status of severity will be noted. All these conditions will be recorded and will be termed as Before Treatment. So, their values will be termed as Before Treatment Values.

Brief Summary
|
Cervical spondylosis is a general term for age ralated wear and tear affecting the spinal disksin neck.
Spondylosis is caused from years of
constant abnormal pressure, caused by joint subluxation, stress induced by
sports, acute and/or repetitive trauma, or poor posture, being placed on the
vertebrae and the discs between them.
In Ayurveda it can be correlated with
Manyagraha as mention by Charak in Shirorogas. As Vata Dosha is mainly responsible
for Manyagraha , it’s Treatment should plan according to it.
This is Project entitled “Randomized
Control Trial on Erandamula Ghanavati With Nasya in Manyagraha
With Special Reference to Cervical Spondylosisâ€
All the Parameters of assessment will be based on signs and symptoms of
Manyagraha, Oswestry Neck Disability Index and Range of movement of neck.
Patients fulfilling the inclusive criteria will be selected
and Randomisation done by computational Random Number Generator. All
these patients will be divided into two groups called as Trial Group and
Control Group by lottery method followed by filling of consent form in language
best understood by them. All the Parameters will be assessed before and after
treatment based on the specially prepared profarma. Apprppriate test will be
apllied to the data outcome and discussion and conclusion will be made
accordingly. |
