Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Comparator Agent  1 ml (5mg) of 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine and 2 ml of 0.25%(5 mg) hypobaric bupivacaine  Unilateral Spinal Anaesthesia with hyperbaric and hypobaric Bupivacaine for lower limb surgeries
Intervention  comparison of hypobaric Bupivacaine and hyperbaric bupivacaine for unilateral spinal anaesthesiae  In the intervention Unilateral spinal anaesthesia will be given with hyperbaric bupiivacaine in one group and hypobaric bupivacaine in second group. Then these will be compared in terms of time required to achieve sensory and motor blockade and patient satisfaction

Inclusion Criteria
Age From  18.00 Year(s)
Age To  65.00 Year(s)
Gender  Both
Details  Sixty patients of either sex, ASA grade I-III, aged between 18-65 years posted for unilateral lower limb surgeries. Procedures lasting for maximum duration of 60 minutes will be included.

ExclusionCriteria
Details  1. Hypovolemia,
2. Preexisting Neurological Disease,
3. Coagulation Disorders,

Individual Participant Data (IPD) Sharing Statement

Will individual participant data (IPD) be shared publicly (including data dictionaries)?

Brief Summary   Hyperbaric bupivacaine is used for unilateral spinal anaesthesia .This is performed in lateral position and side to be operated to be down. Unilateral spinal anaesthesia with hypobaric bupivacaine is given with side to be operated upwards. this helps in making patient proper position and also there is no need of turning patient back for the start of surgery. So in this study we will compare low dose hypobaric and and hyperbaric bupivacaine for unilateral spinal anaesthesia in terms of efficacy of blockade, haemodynamic stability, anaesthesia onset and offset time and patient satisfaction.
