1.New Patients of age group above 18 years who are coming for medicine outpatient department services at government and private secondary level health care centers and are willing to provide written informed consent are included.
2.New Patients of age group 2-18 years who are coming for paediatric outpatient department services are included and informed consent is obtained from their parents or guardians

Brief Summary
|
This study is a cross-sectional descriptive study conducted to assess the patients satisfaction who are utilizing medicine and paediatric out patient department services of government district hospital and Dr TMA PAi hospital of Udupi taluk, Udupi district.The sample size estimated for this study is 280.The estimated sample size i.e 280 is further stratified into equal strata in medicine and paediatric departments of government district hospital and DR TMA Pai hospital.The selected patients are approached and informed about the study.Patient information sheet and informed consent are provided to the patient. The primary outcome of the study i.e. patient satisfaction rate is assessed by using SERVQUAL questionnaire.The study duration is 6 months i.e from January 2018 to June 2018. |
