Women aged between 18-45 years with experience of dysmenorrhea
Ability to speak and understand English or Kannada

The primary outcome of this qualitative study is to explore and understand the perceptions, experiences, beliefs and challenges related to pain management in women with endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea. Specifically , it aims to capture participants self-reported perspectives on pain management who is having endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea

Data will be collected at a single time point through an in-depth interview of women with endometriosis- associated dysmenorrhea. Each participant will undergo one interview session lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. No follow up sessions are planned as the study is cross sectional and exploratory in nature

Brief Summary
|
This study is on women who are having endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea will be taken for face to face in-depth interview. Patient will be screened on the mentioned inclusion and exclusion criteria. Face-to-face interview will be conducted in Kannada or English language and audio recording will be done. Converting the audio recording into codes. Coding will be done based on following stages transcription, familiarization with the interview, coding, developing an analytical framework, applying the analytical framework, charting data into framework matrix, interpreting the data. |
