Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar either because the body does not produce enough insulin or because the cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced
The high blood sugar level in diabetes produces classical symptoms of polyuria polydipsia  and polyphagia 
Conventionally Diabetes has been divided into three types 
 Type 1 IDDM
 TYPE 2 NIDDM
 Gestational Diabetes.
Type 1 DM isInsulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus in which body fails to produce insulin Also term as Juvenile Diabetes Type 2 DM is Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus results from insulin resistance a
