Brief Summary   Menstruation, conception and motherhood can be considered as major aspects of a woman’s life. Among them a healthy menstrual cycle during the reproductive phase is indicate the healthy state of female reproductive system. But some physiological problems can trouble enough the woman to drag her down from the routine. Udavartini Yonivyapada is a common problem of the females in the reproductive age group & has got a detailed patho-physiology and treatment in the classical literature of Ayurveda. Vegodavartana leading to Pratiloma Gati of Apana Vata and Rajas is the pathology behind Udavartini Yonivyapada. In this survey study, we’re considering observation of Mala, Mutra, Nidra, Kshudha and Pipasa Vegadharaan. Due to  Direct relevance to Apana Vata and Udavartini Yonivyapad, High prevalence of suppression in modern lifestyles, Feasibility and clarity for survey research selecting these 5 Vegas.
This observational, cross-sectional survey is designed to address this critical research gap. We aim to recruit 250 female aged 16 to 24 years.
Despite Ayurveda’s strong emphasis on the avoidance of Vegadharana as a key preventive measure for many disorders, this area remains underexplored in terms of empirical research, especially concerning women’s reproductive health. This study holds significant relevance as it bridges classical Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary epidemiological research. The outcomes of this research can contribute to both clinical practice and public health education, reinforcing the timeless relevance of Ayurvedic preventive concepts in today’s health landscape.
