Control group |
participant allocated to the comparator group will not receive the posterior chain neuromuscular training protocol and will continue their usual daily and sports related activities. a warmup and cool down will be given. Surface electromyography assessment will be provided at the same time points as the intervention group |

Participants allocated to the intervention group will receive a structured posterior chain neuromuscular training protocol aimed at improving neuromuscular activation. the protocol will consist of supervised exercises focusing on activation of hamstring and core muscles. Surface electromyography will be used to record neuromuscular activation before and after the intervention period |

Brief Summary
|
This study aims to evaluate the effect of eccentric core and posterior chain training on neuromuscular activation and athletic performance in basketball players. A randomized controlled trial will be conducted among male and female basketball players aged 18 to 25 years, who will be randomly assigned to an interventional or a control group. The intervention group will undergo a structured eccentric training program targeting the core and posterior chain muscles, while the control group will follow the routine training. Neuromuscular activation will be assessed using electromyography (EMG) and performance outcomes such as vertical jump height and agility will be measured before and after the intervention. The study intends to determine whether eccentric focused training leads to significant improvements in neuromuscular efficiency and perfromance in basketball athletes. |
