Brief Summary   Co-relation of age with the elasticity and hydration of skin - A cross-sectional study.
This cross-sectional observational study investigates the relationship between chronological age and biophysical skin parameters (elasticity via Cutometer and hydration via Delfin MoistureMeter) in 80 healthy participants aged 10-70 years. Conducted at Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, New Delhi, and All India Institute of Ayurveda, it aims to quantify Guruvadi Guna equivalents like Sthira (elasticity) and Snigdha (hydration) for Ayurvedic Pramana Sharir assessment.
Hypothesis: There is an associationof age with hydration & elasticity of skin
Primary objective: Measure skin elasticity/hydration; secondary: Correlate with age groups using Pearson/Spearman tests post-Shapiro-Wilk normality check.
Inclusion: Healthy volunteers with consent; exclusions: Skin conditions, recent medications, pregnancy.
Expected outcomes include norms for biological aging markers in Ayurveda, bridging classical texts with modern biophysics.
