Brief Summary
|
AIM: To assess clinical profile and outcome of snake envenomation in patients presenting to tertiary care center of Purvanchal, India. METHODS: Study will be conducted after ethics committee approval in patients presenting with clinical signs and symptoms of snakebite in emergency department and Intensive Care Unit. Clinical profile and treatment outcomes will be assessed in snake envenomation patients. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:To assess clinical profile and outcomes of patients with snake envenomation. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:1)Determine demographic characteristics of patients with snake bite 2)Classify type of snake 3)Identify time interval between bite and Hospital presentation.
