Brief Summary
|
This cross sectional study aims to evaluate the prevalence
of perceived stress and altered quality of sleep among law enforcement
personnel in Hassan, Karnataka, and to examine the association between these
variables. A total of 310 law enforcement personnel, including police, home
guards and state reserve police personnel, will be recruited using convenient
sampling. Data will be collected using pre validated questionnaires, including
Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Perceived Stress Scale, and Operational Police
Stress Questionnaire, along with personal interviews and basic anthropometric
assessments. Statistical analysis will be carried out using descriptive
statistics, correlation and regression analysis to determine associations
between variables. |
