This observational, cross-sectional survey is designed to address this critical research gap. The study focuses specifically on teachers, a professional group in the education sector often exposed to high emotional demands and elevated stress levels. We aim to recruit 250 full-time teachers aged 25 to 50 years within Gujarat to capture a snapshot of actively working professionals.  

The methodology involves assessing participants using four validated instruments: the Manasa Prakruti Inventory to identify the dominance of Triguna, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) to measure subjective stress, the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory to evaluate exhaustion and disengagement, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-25) to assess adaptability. We will use digitalised inventory for unbiased data collection.

We hypothesize that Sattva-dominant individuals will exhibit higher resilience and lower levels of stress and burnout, whereas individuals with Rajas or Tamas dominance may show higher susceptibility to stress and lower resilience. By establishing statistical correlations between these variables, this study seeks to bridge traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with modern occupational health. The ultimate goal is to move beyond generic stress management and pave the way for personalized, Prakruti-based interventions to enhance professional well-being.
