Brief Summary  

NEED OF THE STUDY

The rotator cuff includes both internal and external rotators that are essential for shoulder stability and function. However, most clinical and sports research has focused heavily on external rotators, with limited attention to internal rotation deficits. Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit (GIRD) is a known risk factor for shoulder dysfunction, yet its clinical impact, particularly its association with scapular dyskinesia in rotator cuff-related shoulder pain, is underexplored. Since proper internal rotation is crucial for scapulohumeral rhythm and rotator cuff health, ignoring this aspect may miss a key contributor to shoulder pathology. Therefore, this study is needed to fill the gap in understanding the role of internal rotation deficits and scapular mechanics in rotator cuff-related shoulder pain, aiming to improve clinical evaluation and targeted rehabilitation strategies.

1.1. HYPOTHESIS

NULL HYPOTHESIS

There shall be no statistically significant difference in the amount  of glenohumeral internal rotation deficit and scapular dyskinesia in rotator cuff related shoulder pain
