1 Patients currently attending Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH), AIIMS New Delhi.
2 Patients who meets the eligibility criteria for the AB-PMJAY scheme as defined by the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 data or is an identified beneficiary under any state expansion linked to AB-PMJAY.
3 For patients who are illiterate or unable to read and understand Hindi or English, data will be collected through face-to-face interviews.
4 Patients who provide informed written or verbal consent to participate in the study.

Brief Summary
|
A cross-sectional study will be conducted to assess the awareness and utilisation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana ( AB – PMJAY ) scheme among eligible cancer patients attending Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, AIIMS New Delhi. The basic socio-demographic information will be collected using a socio-demographic data sheet and the participants will answer questionnaire related to awareness about the AB-PMJAY scheme and their experience in utilizing its services. The findings of this study will help to understand the existing level of awareness, patterns of utilization, and gaps in the implementation of the scheme, which may contribute to improving health services in the future. |
