Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Intervention  Content Validated Video Assisted Telerehabilitattion Protocol.  Participants in this group will receive a content validated video assisted telerehabilitation protocol following total hip replacement. Rehabilitation program will be delivered through supervised video based sessions using the RehabMyPatient platform under the guidance of a qualified physiotherapist. The protocol includes exercises for mobility, strengthening, balance training, gait training and functional activities. Sessions will be conducted for 60 minutes per session, four days per week, for a total duration of twelve weeks.
Comparator Agent  Outpatient Rehabilitation Protocol.  Participants in this group will receive the same content validated rehabilitation protocol through conventional outpatient physiotherapy sessions i.e in this both the patient and physiotherapist are in direct contact and the rehabilitation is done in outpatient clinical setting where all the exercises are performed by direct supervision of the physiotherapist. The rehabilitation program includes mobility exercises, strengthening exercises, balance training, gait training and functional activities. Sessions will be conducted for 60 minutes per session, four days per week, for a total duration of twelve weeks.

Brief Summary
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a content-validated video-assisted telerehabilitation protocol on functional outcomes and patient perception in individuals who have undergone Total Hip Replacement. A total of 66 participants who have undergone Total Hip Replacement will be recruited 2 weeks post operatively from the Durgabai Deshmukh Out Patient Department of Orthopaedics and Physiotherapy and  Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital and Research Centre. They are allocated into two groups: a Video-Assisted Telerehabilitation Group and an Outpatient Rehabilitation Group. Both groups will receive the same standardized, content-validated rehabilitation protocol, differing only in the mode of delivery. The telerehabilitation group will receive supervised physiotherapy through video-assisted sessions using the RehabMyPatient platform, while the outpatient group will receive conventional in-person rehabilitation. Rehabilitation will be conducted for 60 minutes per session, four days per week, for a duration of twelve weeks. Functional outcomes will be assessed for both groups using Harris Hip Score (HHS) and Timed Up And Go (TUG) Test at baseline ( 2 weeks post operatively) , 6 weeks post intervention and 12 weeks post intervention. Patient perception will be assessed only for telerehabilitation group using Telehealth Usability Questionnaire (THUQ) at the end of 12th week of intervention. Upon data collection appropriate statistical analysis will be performed to evaluate changes in functional outcomes in both groups and patient perception in telerehabilitation group.
