Brief Summary
|
Iron deficiency anemia is a common nutritional disorder causing reduced hemoglobin levels and impaired quality of life. In Ayurveda this condition is correlated with Pandu, which is characterized by pallor, weakness and reduced strength. Chitrakadi Panduhara Yoga is a classical Ayurvedic formulation indicated in the management of Pandu. The present study is planned as an interventional open label clinical trial to evaluate the effect of Chitrakadi Panduhara Yoga in patients of iron deficiency anemia attending the Kayachikitsa outpatient department of Vishnu Ayurveda College and Hospital. Eligible participants fulfilling the inclusion criteria will be enrolled and administered Chitrakadi Panduhara Yoga for a fixed duration. The effect of the intervention will be assessed based on clinical features and hematological parameters before and after treatment. |
