Brief Summary
TITILE :- A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL TO STUDY THE EFFECT OF TILA KALKA WITH MADHU LEPA ON STANACHUCHUKA VRANA DURING SUTIKAVASTHA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO CRACKED NIPPLES.

INTRODUCTION :- One of the common complication during the postpartum period is cracked nipples. Most common factors causing Cracked nipples are Poor Latch and Incorrect Breastfeeding Position. The prevalence of cracked nipples among breastfeeding mothers during the postpartum period is approximately 32%. If not treated it can produces further complications like infections, nipple thrush, mastitis, contact dermatitis, this can makes future breast feeding sessions uncomfortable, so it requires more attention and proper treatment.
Given the potential side effects associated with modern medications, there is a growing interest in exploring Ayurvedic formulations for managing Stanachuchuka Vrana (Cracked Nipples). In light of this, the present study aims to investigate a safer and more effective alternative treatment based on Ayurvedic principles, with the goal of offering better outcomes and minimizing side effects. This research seeks to bridge the current gap in treatment options. Tila Kalka with Madhu exhibit both the properties. Both the drugs are easily available and have effective properties to heal Stanachuchuka Vrana.

SAMPLE SIZE :- Total sample size for the study will be 70 participants divided equally between trial and control group.

NULL HYPOTHESIS (H0) :- Tila Kalka with Madhu Lepa is not effective on Stanachuchuka Vrana during Sutikavastha.

ALTERNATE HYPOTHESIS (H1):- Tila Kalka with Madhu Lepa is effective on Stanachuchuka Vrana during Sutikavastha.

Trial and control drugs will be purchased from GMC certified pharmacy. Both drugs will be administered for 7 days.
