Mulligan Mobilization with Movement |
Participants will receive Mulligan Mobilization with Movement along with conventional physiotherapy. Conventional therapy includes therapeutic ultrasound at a dosage of zero point eight watt per centimeter square in continuous mode for ten minutes. Mulligan Mobilization with Movement will be applied as sustained lateral glide of the elbow using a mobilization belt while the participant performs pain free gripping. Three sets of ten repetitions will be given per session. Treatment will be given for four weeks, three sessions per week. |

Plyometric Exercise Program |
Participants will receive plyometric exercises along with conventional physiotherapy. Conventional therapy includes therapeutic ultrasound at a dosage of zero point eight watt per centimeter square in continuous mode for ten minutes. Plyometric exercises for elbow and forearm will be performed for four weeks, three sessions per week, with warm up and cool down. Exercises include dribbling a weighted ball, flipping and catching a weighted ball, bouncing a tennis ball on a racket, rapid eccentric and concentric elbow and forearm movements using elastic resistance, and chest or overhead passes using a weighted plyometric ball. |

Brief Summary
|
This study aims to compare the effect of plyometric exercises and Mulligan mobilization with movement on pain function and grip strength in recreational racket sports players with chronic lateral epicondylitis. A total of sixty eight participants will be recruited and randomly allocated into two groups. One group will receive plyometric exercises along with conventional physiotherapy and the other group will receive Mulligan mobilization with movement along with conventional physiotherapy. The intervention will be given for four weeks with three sessions per week. Pain will be assessed using Numerical Pain Rating Scale function will be assessed using Patient Rated Tennis Elbow Evaluation questionnaire and grip strength will be measured using hand held dynamometer. The outcomes will be measured at baseline and at the end of each week for four weeks. The results of the study will help to identify the more effective physiotherapy intervention for managing chronic lateral epicondylitis in racket sports players. |
